    Description

Rare Hawaii Hiroshima Medical Association Kimono Awesome Item. Condition is "Used". I found this item in a local estate of a doctor. She was a world traveler so it is likely that she may have helped out this organization. I am not an expert on this item. I am not sure of the age or Origin of this item. It does have some stains. This item will be SOLD AS IS.
I found the following information about this organization online:
A team of Japanese doctors will offer free medical examinations to Hawaii residents who survived the World War II atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
More than 120 survivors are known to be living in the state, according to Izumi Hirano, president of the Hawaii Chapter of the Committee of Atomic Bomb Survivors in the United States.
Doctors associated with the Hiroshima Prefectural Medical Association are to arrive here July 8 to perform the examinations.
Atomic bomb survivors include anyone who was in Hiroshima or Nagasaki when the bombs exploded, anyone who went into either city in the following two weeks.
    Thank You!
