Ethnic Handmade Skirt Hmong Thailand Early 20th Century

Description

This is a skirt that was purchased at auction and donated by Friends of Ethnic Art. This organization identifies the skirt as from Hmong culture and made in Thailand. They further state it is from Early 20th Century and made of cotton and embroidery. I cannot personally guarantee these facts; I am taking the information from the auction bidding/donation form, a copy of which is in the last photo.
Please note this skirt has an open, unfinished waist, so it will need to be finished or tied with something before it can be worn. The waist as is measures 26" across when lying flat. The last 2 skirt photos were taken with the skirt turned inside-out.
Please view pictures closely and make your selection carefully since I do not accept returns. I'm happy to answer any questions. Thank you very much for looking.
